About the role

As Director SAP Transformations, you’ll play a crucial and strategic role in overseeing SAP implementations and operations, driving transformation initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration of SAP solutions with Supply Chain processes, for our clients across industries such as life sciences, consumer goods, and manufacturing.  

 

  • You lead and manage end-to-end project activities related to SAP implementations. This includes project planning, resource allocation, task delegation, progress tracking, and timely delivery of project milestones. 

  • You collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing business processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities. Analyse and document business requirements to align them with SAP functionalities. 

  • You work closely with business users, process owners, and SAP implementation partners to design and configure SAP modules to meet business requirements. Ensure that the proposed solutions align with industry best practices and organization's strategic goals. 

  • You will lead and coach a team of consultants across the transformation program stages responsible for delivery from design, delivery through hyper-care. You will oversee collaboration and engagement with all key program stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of all program objectives. You stay on top of the latest SAP features and industry best practices. You are able to identify opportunities for system optimization, process improvements, and automation. 

  • You foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, process owners, IT teams, and external consultants. Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies, and ensure alignment between business needs and project objectives. You’re the lead liaison between the client and our team of consultants in order to meet mutual expectations at all times. 

  • You are able to identify which particular stakeholders should be involved and are impacted during the different project stages and how to translate “change” into “chance”. 

  • You assume a coaching role and guide your team towards their goals. Besides, you take full responsibility for the project and keep track of deliverables, milestones, resources and costs. 

  • You help to envision the bigger picture and have an eye for future opportunities to further serve the client.

Job requirements

About you 

The role requires a blend of technical expertise, operational insight, and commercial acumen, while fostering strong customer and third-party partnerships. 

  • You hold a master’s degree in engineering, economics, supply chain management or related field. An MBA is a plus. 

  • You have a deep knowledge of SAP Fundamentals: SAP architecture, modules, and ecosystem, particularly S/4HANA. You have at least 10 years of experience in leading large-scale SAP projects from design to deployment. You have a strong knowledge of SAP licensing, security, and data management best practices. 

  • You have a good knowledge of Supply Chain Process Integration, you have some expertise in end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution within SAP environments. 

  • You are able to architect and optimize supply chain workflows in SAP to improve efficiency and agility and you do have experience in integrating SAP supply chain modules with other enterprise systems. 

  • You have a demonstrated ability to lead complex SAP transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. 

  • You are skilled in change management, stakeholder engagement, and delivering business value during transformation initiatives. 

  • You have strong project/program management capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement. 

  • You can translate technical solutions into tangible commercial benefits and have proven experience in budgeting, cost management, and negotiating with partners and stakeholders. 

  • Capability to identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency within SAP-enabled processes. 

  • You can build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors and you are able to lead cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver joint objectives.
