About the role

As an HR Business Partner, you'll be the trusted HR advisor for our U.S. organization, partnering closely with leaders and employees to create an engaging, high-performing workplace. You'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring our people practices support both business objectives and an exceptional employee experience.

Working closely with our global HR team, you'll translate global HR initiatives into the U.S. context while bringing local market expertise, credibility, and pragmatism. From coaching managers through complex people situations to leading HR projects and strengthening our policies and processes, you'll play a key role in helping Bluecrux continue to grow in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Business Leaders

• Serve as the trusted HR Business Partner for U.S. leadership and employees.

• Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, wellbeing, and organizational topics.

• Participate in management discussions to ensure people considerations are embedded in business decisions.

• Build trusted relationships by providing practical, balanced, and business-oriented HR advice.

Own Core HR Processes

• Manage the full employee lifecycle for the U.S. business across a broad range of HR activities.

• Lead individual employee cases related to performance, wellbeing, mobility, and other people matters.

• Support payroll and compensation processes in collaboration with our Reward team and HR Operations.

• Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently while maintaining an excellent employee experience.

Drive HR Projects & Organizational Change

• Partner with the European HR team to implement Talent Management and broader HR initiatives.

• Lead or contribute to HR projects that improve processes, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.

• Support change management activities and help managers successfully adopt new HR initiatives.

• Translate business needs into practical HR solutions.

Build & Improve HR Policies

• Develop, adapt, and maintain HR policies that reflect both business needs and local U.S. market requirements.

• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, improve, and scale HR processes.

• Monitor external HR trends and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Act as the HR Point of Contact

• Serve as the primary HR contact for the U.S. organization across a broad range of people topics.

• Collaborate closely with HR colleagues across Europe to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.

• Provide guidance while knowing when to leverage specialist expertise from internal HR teams.

Job requirements

About you

You are a credible HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders and helping organizations grow through their people. You combine strong business acumen with empathy, pragmatism, and ownership, allowing you to confidently navigate both strategic conversations and day-to-day HR challenges. You thrive in fast-growing environments where no two days are the same, enjoy working across cultures, and naturally build trusted relationships at every level of the organization.

Experience

• 5–10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar broad HR role.

• Experience partnering directly with business leaders across multiple HR domains.

• Professional services, consulting, technology, or similarly fast-paced knowledge-based environments strongly preferred.

• Experience managing both operational HR responsibilities and strategic HR initiatives.

• Experience leading or contributing to HR projects and organizational change initiatives.

• Experience handling complex employee relations and performance management cases.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

• Master's degree or relevant HR certifications are a plus.

Skills

• Strong knowledge across multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, talent management, HR policies, and organizational development.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, coach, and challenge managers constructively.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.

• Solid project management and change management capabilities.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, assess people risks, and translate insights into action.

• Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with international teams.

• Experience working across European and U.S. organizations is a plus.

• You are willing to work in a hybrid model, spending at least three days per week in our Millburn, NJ office.
