Job description

About the role

As a Senior Inventory Strategy & Optimization Lead, you take a key role in further developing and growing Bluecrux’ inventory services, not only the optimization offering, but the broader inventory capability as a whole. In this role, you support the expansion of a strategic capability with strong growth potential.

You lead complex inventory engagements for international clients, often at C-level or board level. You take end-to-end ownership of inventory tracks, combining strategic advisory work with hands-on involvement in optimization models, analytical deep dives, and solution design. Rather than purely technical execution, your role involves oversight of analytical work while ensuring a strong business lens: identifying opportunities behind the numbers and shaping them into clear concepts. You translate technical insights into a conceptual business model, map them onto roadmaps, and define improvement initiatives.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, you help teams and clients progress on complex challenges. You manage senior stakeholders, guide delivery teams, and ensure insights translate into concrete, sustainable business results. You collaborate closely with senior experts within Bluecrux to deliver high-quality solutions and further shape the inventory offering.

About us

At Bluecrux, we transform supply chains into smart, efficient value chains through a blend of expert consulting and cutting-edge technology. We collaborate with industry leaders like Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Bridgestone, AkzoNobel, Beiersdorf, Oatly, and many others. With a global presence in Europe, the US, and APAC, we’re committed to shaping the future of value chains.

Within the Planning Business Unit, we have built expertise across Life Sciences/Pharma, CPG & CH, and Chemicals & Industries. In addition to our broader planning transformation work, we are expanding our inventory-focused capabilities, supporting global leaders such as Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, BASF, and Bridgestone in strengthening their end-to-end inventory performance.

During these transformations, our experts support customers throughout the journey — defining a vision, designing the future operating model, enabling new ways of working, configuring advanced planning systems (APS), strengthening data foundations, accelerating S&OP maturity, and guiding clients across the full planning landscape. We work with our clients, not for them — ensuring changes are sustainable and deliver lasting impact.
