As we grow, we’re excited to invite a skilled SaaS Product Owner - AI to join our Product & Engineering team. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to AXON, our state-of-the-art Digital Supply Chain Twin SaaS solution. AXON empowers our customers with an all-encompassing, real-time view of their entire supply chain, providing data-driven insights that drive smarter, faster decisions. Learn more about AXON here.

About the role 

Product Discovery  

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and customers to uncover and develop new opportunities and features for Axon, including opportunities enabled by AI, advanced analytics, and automation. 

  • Leverage customer feedback and internal insights to shape the product roadmap and drive innovation. 

  • Explore and validate AI‑driven product ideas, such as intelligent recommendations, scenario simulations, or workflow automation, balancing customer value, feasibility, and explainability. 

Product Delivery  

  • Define and refine user stories, ensuring they are well-detailed and prioritized for seamless sprint execution, apply AI while doing so and facilitate further use of AI in the development and testing. 

  • Advocate for a superior user experience by creating design proposals. Generate working prototypes based on the existing codebase.  

  • Maintain close communication with implementation consultants and solution managers to gather valuable insights into customer usage patterns and requirements for Axon.  

  • Take end-to-end ownership of product initiatives, from concept and realization to testing and delivery, including defining success criteria for AI features such as accuracy, usability, trust, and business impact. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data and AI specialists, product experts, architects, and developers, to achieve shared goals. 

  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and alignment.  

  • Act as a key translator between business needs and AI capabilities, ensuring that complex technical concepts are turned into clear product decisions and user value. 

Job requirements

About you

An ideal candidate:  

  • Experience: First experience as a Product Owner in software product development, ideally in data‑intensive, analytics‑driven, or AI‑enabled products. 

  • Education: Master of Science, Master of Business Engineering or similar education. 

  • Team Player: Has strong communication skills, values collaboration, aligns with Bluecrux’s core values of open-mindedness, ambition, humility, and a passion for tackling challenges together.  

  • Ownership-Driven: Takes pride in their work and is accountable from start to finish.  

  • Solutions-Oriented: Approaches challenges with a focus on finding solutions, not just problems.  

  • Tech–Savvy: Feels comfortable generating code, discussing data architecture structures, analysing data, UX and UI designs. 

  • Embracing AI: Comfortable working in an environment where AI tooling (e.g. copilots, analytics platforms, experimentation) accelerates product discovery, delivery, and decision‑making. 

  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.
