Job description
About the role
This role sits within our Binocs Software product, Bluecrux’s market-leading SaaS solution for scheduling and planning in Quality laboratories and Cell & Gene Therapy production. As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in ensuring that Binocs is implemented and scaled successfully for our customers—balancing deep technical expertise, strong solution design, and continuous improvement of both the product and our delivery approach.
In this role, you’ll work closely with customers, consultants, and internal product teams to align Binocs’ capabilities with real-world operational needs, while also contributing to the evolution of the product and our internal implementation standards. Your responsibilities are split across customer-facing and internal/product-focused domains.

Technical solution alignment: Ensure customer requirements are met through tailored configurations and quality assurance.
Consultant support & escalation handling: Provide expert guidance to consultants, stepping in for complex scenarios and project escalations.
Communication & documentation: Engage with clients when needed, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document new approaches for team training.
Internal & Product-Focused Responsibilities:
Continuous improvement & training: Identify process enhancements, including opportunities to leverage AI, and train consultants to improve their skills.
Product insights & strategy: Share customer feedback with internal teams, explore how AI and emerging technologies can support scalable solutions, and contribute to product development by identifying trends and shaping future product directions

Job requirements
About you
Above all, we believe in your ability to shape this role to your strengths, and we’ll actively support your growth and development. The following experience and background will set you up for success during onboarding:
Extensive implementation experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing complex SaaS systems. You’ve seen what can go wrong—and know how to navigate the challenges that come with large-scale implementations.
Strong judgment and decision-making: You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity, balancing customer needs with standards and scalability, identifying solution-fit risks, and making sound calls on when to move forward, adjust course, or escalate.
End-to-end problem solving: You take full ownership of solution design for complex scenarios, perform quality reviews, and ensure alignment with best practices, product direction, and long-term customer success.
Technical confidence: You’re comfortable working with IT systems and SaaS platforms and have a solid understanding of how they function. Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
Functional analysis expertise: You can translate business needs into clear technical requirements and document solutions in a structured, consistent way.
Hands-on and detail-oriented: You enjoy working directly in software systems, digging into the details, and truly understanding how the product works end to end.
Clear, effective communication: You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and can explain complex technical concepts clearly to both clients and internal stakeholders.
You feel connected with and are ready to represent our company values: dig deep, own it, come together, move fast and be kind!
You show a willingness to travel globally and to work in a hybrid working model.
Nice to have

Product enhancement experience – Prior involvement in improving or extending SaaS products
Supply chain knowledge – Familiarity with supply chain processes
