In this role, you’ll contribute directly to AXON, our state-of-the-art Digital Supply Chain Twin SaaS solution. As a Data Engineer at AXON, you’ll play a key role in transforming data processes and delivering powerful insights for our clients. Your Role:

  • System Integrations Development: Program integrations between enterprise systems and our Digital Supply Chain Twin, enabling seamless and efficient data exchanges.
  • Supply Chain Analytics: Utilize programming skills to extract, process, and analyze data, generating actionable insights that enhance supply chain planning and decision-making.
  • Data Collection & Transformation: Partner with our delivery team in data collection, preprocessing, and transformation activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Product Innovation & Optimization: Work closely with Solution and Product teams, using programming expertise to improve processes, automate feedback loops, and refine product features based on real-time customer data.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges, collaborating with consultants to to optimize system performance and functionality.
  • Technology Advancement: Leverage new big data technologies and programming innovations to drive Axon’s growth, exploring opportunities that deliver high-value solutions for our clients.

Job requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • Educational Background: A master’s degree in Data Science, Commercial Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Ambition or Experience: 0-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Programming Experience: You are familiar with R and/or Python. Familiarity with Scala or PySpark is a bonus.
  • Supply Chain Interest: Understanding of—or strong motivation to learn—supply chain processes, especially in planning.
  • ETL, DevOps, & Big Data Experience: Knowledge of ETL processes and big data frameworks; experience with Azure, especially Synapse or Databricks, is advantageous. It’s nice to be familiar with CI/CD.
  • Data Intuition & Analytical Mind: Ability to prioritize high-value opportunities, identify risks, and deliver data-driven insights with precision.
  • Problem Solver: A quick learner with a razor-sharp analytical mindset, ready to tackle complex data challenges head-on.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
